Cat Bradley

I want to help you reach your goals!

Running has been a constant in my life. Instilling confidence and joy, helping to guide my life to where I am today.

When I was laid off from my job as a Kindergarten teacher in 2017, David Roche, a well-known running coach, suggested I start taking on a few clients myself. It started with one client, a friend I coached for free. Then, by word of mouth, one client turned to two then to five. Now, I’m a full-time coach hoping to share what I know through the guidance of the best coaches in the sport and 15 years of running.

With my knowledge and experience, I offer personalized plans, that are interactive and updated daily (yes, even on weekends!) for your individual needs. My approach depends on communication, getting to know the athlete as a whole person outside of athletics, and adapting the training strategy based on individual needs.

HAPPY WORDS FROM Happy Clients

Throughout my years of running, I’ve learned it’s rare to find a coach who you trust and who trusts you, treats you like an individual, and is invested in you. Cat checks all those boxes and more. She does an excellent job communicating the structure of her training and provides practical advice for everything from fueling to sleep to racing. I have never felt like “just another athlete” because Cat’s training is so personalized. Her skill to learn my strengths and weaknesses have allowed our training to lean in and pivot when needed. Not only did I feel more prepared than I have in a long time, but I was excited to race which resulted in a podium finish at my first 50 miler!

Bottom line: Cat wants her athletes to succeed and cares beyond athletics, and I have felt those traits since day one. I’m stoked to continue working with her on more races!

I’ve worked with Cat for about a three years now, and it’s been the best decision I could have made! Before reaching out to Cat, I always thought coaches were only for professional athletes, but soon learned that wasn’t true. Cat has been so supportive and encouraging and always meets me where I’m at. She is genuine, real, and honest in all of her communication which was important to me when choosing a coach. It is apparent through talking with her that she is very knowledgeable and really cares about the athletes that she works with. I’m in the best shape of my life right now and have never had a better relationship with running, and so much of that I attribute to Cat!

I entrusted Cat with getting me to the starting line of Western States, a dream race for me. Not only did she get me there, I showed up uninjured and in the best shape of my life. Cat made day-by-day modifications and additions to my training schedule based on my feedback and my busy schedule, always emphasizing quality over quantity, and making sure I got plenty of rest. I am so grateful for her unending patience for my questions and anxieties. Not only do I feel fit, I feel empowered by my training and confident in my abilities, knowing that Cat’s coaching has all my bases covered.

I’ve been working with Cat for just over a year and my progress has been way beyond anything I ever thought possible. Within a year Cat has helped me knock over 2.5 hours off my 50k time, taking me from back of the pack to top 10% in most of my races this year including my first podium placing in 25 years!! She’s also got me through a number of longer events including Ultra Trail Cape Town 100km.

Cat has been great in timing my fitness peaks for my planned A races and ensures I show up on race day in the best possible state of fitness. After just a year I’m fitter, faster and happier than I’ve been in a long time and excited for what’s to come.
